I have no holiday plans this year and I really want to just get away, somewhere nice and hot with nothing to do but relax. *sigh* The worst thing is just at the start of the year we had plans to go away to Morroco next month and then later in they year we were planning to go to Kenya! on safari! One thing I've always wanted to do and a place I've always wanted to go to.
What happened? well we went to so many places last year (like Turkey above) that we can't really afford it this year and safari is so expensive too. Plus i'm being sensible and finally doing my make up course this year so need to save my $$ ..BUT a sensible year should hopefully lead to extra travels come 2014! hehe

I wanted to share my love for the Urban Decay Vice palette as I think it's one of the best palettes they have done. Urban decay eye shadows are great, especially if you like a bit of funk with your look.
I've had one of their palettes since i was around 15 which I've gotta say is still going strong. I still love it and use it all the time. So you can be assured they're not the type of palettes to turn to dust in your makeup bag. I felt like I wanted a few more so what better than this Vice palette. It has 15 beautiful colours whether you like a natural nudey colour, a gold shimmer or a vibrant 'look at my eyes' colour, this palette is sure to have what you want.
It comes with a nice brush with short bristles on one end and longer bristles for blending on the other. If I'm honest when i wear urban decay myself i find it best to us use my fingers, I'm sure this is most likely a MUA no go ..but the texture really comes out and the colour seems stronger when i use my finger.
I'm so glad i picked this up seen as it's being DISCONTINUED! Definitely glad i got in there, so many of my favourites end up getting discontinued and it is so heartbreaking when you fall in love with a product and then find out they will never be made again :(
So a few of my fave colours from this palette - Occupy: works really well for a smokey eye. Provocateur beautiful nude look with that little shimmer for a glam look. Blitz: great for a golden goddess look and most likely you could do it in one stroke it's that creamy. Chaos: although it looks really bright in the palette, it actually comes out a really nice strong blue as oppose to a bright blue.
I could probably add them all to the list to be honest they are all great colours and the best thing with urban decay is they are so easy to apply, last all day and the palettes themselves are very durable and long lasting.
The box is really funky with an emblem on the top and at £42 I think for what you get inside it is a bargain ..Snapped up!
